Hello all

Well I haven't updated in awhile && I feel like writing so here goes.....

I am loving my senior year, although I have a "slight" case of senioritis.  I have applied at five colleges [ASU, UNC-W, WCU, UNC-C, & UNC-G] and I have already been accepted into one of the UNC-C, but it is my third choice for school.  ASU [Appalachian State] is my first choice, I cant picture myself at any other college.  I am planning on majoring in Elementary Education and minoring in Spanish.  I am supposed to hear back from ASU by the end of the month so hopefully

Tennis is over and that makes me sad.  I played my last match ever the other day, and I won.  Our team was the CONFERENCE CHAMPS [yet again] our record was 10-0 [in the conference] and 13-3 overall, so it was a good way to end my senior year.  I am going to miss my tennis girls so much and of course our wonderful coach.

I am really happy with the way things are right now [a big change from last week] so I hope things stay the same for awhile.  And that is all,

Bye kids

So xangas are getting old, I think this might be my last post for good.

So since I last updated, I had my birthday, I turned 17.  I went and visited APPALACHIAN STATE and met with the admissions office and toured the campus. I loved it loved it loved it.  I really want to go to school there and really hope I get accepted. Thats pretty much it.

School tennis starts this week, excited about that.  Babysitting all day everyday this week. [except during tennis practice] not excited about that.  But oh well,  I will have to deal.   School starts in 19 days, and I am definatley not excited about that.

Thats about it.  Later kids.

Feels Like Today

So today is my last day of being 16, tomorrow I turn 17. I am way too excited.  I am going to spend the day with my mom, we are getting manicures and pedicures and getting our  make-up done and shopping.  It is going to be a pampering day. I cant wait.

I was thinking about all the stuff that happened over the year of me being sixteen.  Some good, some not so good. I got my license, I went to Nicaragua and had the time of my life, I went to prom for the first time,  I got my first real heartbreak, I made friendships with some amazing people that I cant even begin to picture my life without.  So I'd say the good outways the bad.  I can only hope that this next year will be as good as the last.

Well I'm about to head off to the pool. so thats all for now. Later kids.

So I figured it was time for a real update.

Sunday I got back from my amazing trip to NICARAGUA.  I had the time of my life down there.  The kids were wonderful and so sweet. I would give anything to be back with them now.  We built a playground and built a new fence for a family to keep their cows in.  We also did jewelry classes for the girls and soccer classes for the boys.  We had one day of free time, and we took a boat ride and went to an active volcanoe.

And I cant leave out the part about me almost fracturing my foot in the airport on the way down there, by tripping over a bookbag. But thankfully it wasnt fractured just a really bad sprain. Who knew bookbags could be so dangerous??

Here are pictures from my trip:  PART 1 and PART 2

I get senior pictures taken tomorrow YAY

And I turn 17 in 8 DAYS

IM BACK!!

I got back late last night.  I wish I was still in Nicaragua, and still with those kids and still working on that playground.  Nicaragua was amazing. One week down there was not enough. I got really close to one little girl who was seven, her name was Marcella.

Both these pictures are me and Marcella.

A more detailed update about the trip will come later. But I am still exhausted from the trip so I am going to go sleep like I have been doing all day.  Later kids
